Metabolife was originally based around ephedra and was at that time quite a popular product. They have since been sold to another company as a product line, and they have grown and expanded to include various other products under the basic Metabolife name.

The Good

Metabolife does have some of the most popular and proven weight loss ingredients such as garcinia cambogia. They also have various forms of caffeine, which could easily promote a thermogenic effect in the body if used in the right amounts of course. So they do have some of the right ingredients.

The Bad

Unfortunately, their formula is extremely common, and though some of their ingredients are effective enough to produce results, they won’t produce results in the small amounts used in Metabolife products. They can still cause side effects, most of which are related to the caffeine therein. But they have not really changed anything.

The Skinny

Metabolife has gone down in quality if anything. After the downfall of ephedra, they were left scrambling to get their bases together, and as far as we can tell they never actually did. We would recommend staying far away from this product and finding something else that actually works.
