In this article, you will find some assumptions on my part, but they are based on what I have seen in those who need to lose 100 pounds or more or have 100 pounds or more to lose. They are small changes yes. But frankly, no one gets to the points of obesity that require this by eating fruits or vegetables or by frankly doing what they are supposed to be doing.
So for starters, start eating less. You can get both natural and other natural appetite suppressants that will help you to achieve this basic result, and ultimately overeating is a big part of what creates those fat layers outside the muscle that will show up, hide your muscle, and cause obesity as we know it.
Second of all, stay away from the fried foods and fast food. I have heard more than one obese individual deny that they ate these foods, deny that their diet was this bad. But face the facts, chances are you are probably eating more junk food than you are actually willing to admit.
Then, look into exercise. I don’t mean waddling around or moseying around with your friends on a casual walk in the park. I mean actually getting out there and exercising. Actually, in the beginning, small exercises such as taking a casual walk around the park will work. But over time, you will need to adjust your exercise routine accordingly.
Finally, be honest with yourself. This is quite possibly the most important step in how to lose 100 pounds or more. If you are not honest with yourself, you can’t expect anybody else to convince you of these things. So ultimately speaking, you have to be the one that tells yourself this is what I’m doing, this is what I need to be doing, and this is my problem.
I have struggled with obesity all my life. I am 75 and in poor health but I have not been successful in weight loss at all in my life. The article was a good article but there to I “waddle” around is what I do. I have asthma–on oxygen most of the time, diabetic, under control, under control cholesterol, HIGH blood pressure that no one seems to be able to control even with meds. Feet and legs are HUGE from swelling that drs. can’t control so its almost imossible to walk far at all. Neuropathy that continues to get worse daily. I feel my diet is fair….don’t go to fast food restaurants and salt, sugar and fried foods are not in my vocabulary. Whats next? I have no idea….I am forever doing research on the computer to get another idea. You have one?
