EZ Slim is a low cost weight loss aid that is marketed and produced by the homeopathic nutrition company, HomeoCare.
Since EZ Slim promises to be able to help your body respond better to its own natural signals, we’re interested enough to look into EZ Slim and see what it has to offer.
What Does EZ Slim Do?
Supposedly, EZ Slim works to regulate the circulation and health of the lymph nodes, thus increasing the body’s ability to realize when it is full, and improving the basal metabolic rate, or rate at which the body expends calories.
However, none of this is possible without some very impressive ingredients, and from what we can tell, EZ Slim is lacking.
How Does It Do It?
One of EZ Slim’s special ingredients is a big dose of hypothalamus.
EZ Slim believes that by ingesting dried and powdered hypothalamuses of different animals your own brain activity will be increased and you will be able to interpret signs of fullness more quickly.
Although this might sound like an interesting theory, there has been no clinical evidence or scientific research to back up EZ Slim’s claim.
Another ingredient, fucus versiculosis, is supposed to improve the health of your lymph nodes so that your metabolism will be increased. However, we have found that fucus versiculosis is really just bladderwrack, the nautical iodine that is often used to soften the skin in spas.
Any Other Concerns?
Not only does EZ Slim have ingredients that are probably useless for weight loss, but they also include some that might make you sick. Phytolacca decandra, for instance, is included in EZ Slim despite the fact that it is often used to induce vomiting.
Because EZ Slim most likely cannot help you lose weight, and might even make you sick, we do not recommend this product.
If you are looking for a natural product that also produces results, there are many that will fulfill that need better than EZ Slim.
